colectivo uncormorán

 

Formed by Judith Mata and Jorge Albuerne in the summer of 2008 with the open-air performance uncormorán in the Formentera island and continued with the blog www.noesdanza.blogspot.com

 

They colaborated with another artists Xabi Eliçagaray (musician) and Guillermo Marrufo (video artist) creating MOSTUP and Trilogía Bandida.

 

On their works they try to built paralel universes from their common memories.

 

Judith Mata

 

Born in Madrid in 1978. Degree in Ballet by the Dance Professinal Conservatory of Sevilla. Continued with Contemporary Dance in Spain, France and Holland (Jullyen Hamilton, Patricia Kuypers, DD Dorvilier, Salud López or Germana Civera among others). From 1999 started to work as a dancer with different dance and dance theatre companies (Perros en Danza, Teatro El Velador, Producciones Imperdible, Cia. Manuela Nogales…)

 

Since the year 2005 started to work on their own creations, researching and developing her own language and collaborating with another artists. Some works of this period are:

Jorge Albuerne

 

Born in Oviedo in 1974. Degree in Fine Arts (sculpture) by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Started to study Contemporary Dance in Bilbao with Olaff Kelher, DDT, Muelle 3 and continued in Barcelona with Andres Corchero, Lipi Hernandez or Mal Pelo among others. At the same time started with Circus skills (hand to hand, fliying trapeze and chinesse pole) at the Rogelio Rivell Circus School in Barcelona, France and Denmark.

 

Since the year 1999 satrted to work between dance, circus and theatre as a performer in different companies ( Malqueridas, Raraavis,TNC…), creating his own works (Señora!!!, Dos, Anderdesí…) or collaborating with another artists in collective creations (Zirkus Frak, Traspié, La Makabra, Gira…)
